The United States in Global Politics

Assistant Instructor (Instructor of Record)

I am making my lecture materials that I developed for the course publicly available here. The course was divided into three sections. The first provided an historical introduction to the United States in Global Politics, briefly covering the foreign policy evolution of the United States as it developed from a colony to a superpower. The second section provides a brief introduction to game theoretical analysis and collective action theory as each applies to the study of politics and policies. The course culminated in applied game theoretical and collective action theory analyses of global problems and potential policy solutions through the analysis of current events covering a comprehensive range of global (and even extraterrestrial) topics.
